For the Useless/Useful exhibition, Episode II – Respect, an interactive garment display was created to accompany Sayaka Kamakura’s collection. Using Augmented Reality, the audience was able to digitally ‘try out’ Sayaka’s collection, projecting different combinations and layers of the garments onto their own body.

Inspired by game of Tetris, Sayaka’s garments easily translated into the world of Augmented Reality, providing a playful collection of shapes and imagery that the audience could engage with, both physically and digitally(!).
